“We’re delighted that you want to fundraise with Awyr Las and want to help wherever we can, but the charity cannot accept any liability for your fundraising event, nor anyone who participates in it.
It’s your responsibility to organise all the necessary insurances and licenses
and make sure they’re in place in advance of your fundraising event.
Get friends to help you carry out your own simple risk assessments to make
sure you’re event is organised safely and efficiently.”

"Some activities can be so expensive that it becomes difficult to raise money through them. You should always aim to raise at least three times as much as you spend.
If you're not sure how to plan your budget then get in touch; we might be able to help you out."

Check what you need
"I know our generous donations make such a difference. So does forward planning. Make sure you’ve got the insurance and licenses you need and that you’ve carried out all necessary risk assessments.
Remember, the charity can’t accept responsibility for your event, but if you’re not sure what you need, contact the Awyr Las Fundraising Support Team who can advise you on this. They’re really helpful."
“When you fundraise in aid of Awyr Las there are a few legalities and regulations that you need to adhere to. These safeguard you as a fundraiser, your supporters and the charity. If you’re not sure what you need to do, give us a call.”
